ANAHEIM, Calif. -- This past Eid, like many before it, southern California Muslims experienced disunity with regards to the end of Ramadan. Makkah announced that Eid would fall on Friday, Oct. 12. But the Islamic Shura Council of Southern California announced that the day for Eid would be on Saturday, Oct. 13.
