WHAT’S COOKIN’ RESTAURANT REVIEW: ‘Omar’s offers a cozy feel and ‘American’ taste

Imagine walking through the streets of downtown Los Angeles and being able to enjoy a hot dog or hamburger like everyone else. If you are a zabihah-only eater like me, that was merely a dream until more than seven years ago, when I found a wonderful little fast food restaurant conveniently located in the Garment District on the corner of Pico and Los Angeles. Since that day, I have been eating at Omar’s Restaurant regularly. The restaurant is cozy, to say the least, as seating is limited to 8-10.
