WHAT’S COOKIN’ RESTAURANT REVIEW: New café revives old Turkish recipes

Turkish cuisine is said to be largely the heritage of the Ottoman Empire, a fusion and refinement of Central Asian, Middle Eastern and Balkan cuisines. Though not an expert in any particular cultural dish, I do know what thrills the palate and fills the stomach - and I found both at Pasha Mediterranean Café & Grill, a brand new Turkish eatery in the heart of one of San Diego’s trendiest neighborhoods.
