Muslims in America have made extraordinary achievements in the past few decades. We have established hundreds of masajid throughout the country, built dozens of full-time schools servicing students of all ages, created political and civil rights organizations that work locally and nationally, and formed relief agencies that provide support to the world’s most needy citizens. We have developed Muslim youth groups that help guide our youth, and provide a social outlet for our children in an Islamic environment. There are Muslim student associations in most colleges and many high schools. American Muslims have achieved much in such a short period of time. We should be proud of our achievements and thank Allah for blessing us with the opportunities that many of our fellow Muslims overseas can only dream of.
