Seriously funny: A closer look at AMMF and the evolution of Muslim comedy

What do you get when you mix three passionate Muslim comedians with a barrel of jokes, a lifetime of experiences and one heartfelt community project? A comedy act for the ages! Preacher Moss, Azhar Usman and Mohammed Amer have set out on a mission to dispel stereotypes about Muslims through standup comedy. From Anaheim to Chicago, and Osama to kababs, this hilarious dynamic trio has toured the U.S. in hopes of bringing awareness about common Muslim-American issues in a fun and amusing light. "Allah Made Me Funny" has become a household name as audiences can’t get enough of their comic tales of airport security lines and olive-oil treatments for ear infections. Their four-year journey has culminated in a new side-splitting film set to hit theatres this month. With their diverse ethnic backgrounds and unique styles in joke-telling, there’s no doubt that this band of brothers will bring just as much laughter on the big screen as they have live on stage.
