It can happen to the best of people. You buy something on credit and you forget to pay the bill. You get a friendly reminder in the mail telling you the debt is 30 days past due. You tell yourself you’ll pay the bill. You forget again, and now you have the credit card company calling you asking when you’ll send the payment. Once again you tell yourself you’ll pay the bill, and once again you forget. Before you know it, a person rings your doorbell and serves you with a Court summons. The credit card company has finally filed a lawsuit against you for failure to repay your loan obligation.
