LONDON - Scientists say conclusive data shows there is no question circumcision reduces men’s chances of catching HIV by up to 60 per cent - a finding experts are hailing as a major breakthrough in the fight against AIDS.

Diabetes: An overlooked epidemic

The epidemic of Type 2 Diabetes (formerly known as Adult Onset Diabetes) is taking a huge toll on the United States. One out of every three children in the United States will develop diabetes. An estimated 20.8 million children and adults have diabetes in the United States. People with diabetes have a much higher risk of stroke, heart attack, blindness, foot amputation, kidney failure and a painful condition known as peripheral neuropathy. This disease can exact a severe toll on its victims. As such, it is imperative to prevent occurrence of the disease and if you have diabetes, control the disease as best as possible in order to prevent severe complications.
