An out-of-this-world experience for space tourist
LOS ANGELES -- When Anousheh Ansari looked at Earth from space, she had a very different outlook on the planet of 6.5 billion humans.

"Earth is magnificent and peaceful from up here. You don’t see any of those awful things you hear on the news from up here," Ansari wrote in her blog, or Web log, which she maintained from space. Ansari, a woman of many firsts, is the world’s first female space tourist, and first female Muslim and Iranian in space.
