Quickly approaching is a great month, a most blessed month, in which there is a night greater than one thousand months. It is the holy month of Ramadan, where the believers seek nearness to their Lord through fasting. InFocus decided to hit the streets this month and ask local believers just how they’re preparing for this sacred time.

"Ramadan is unique because it’s like, raw, uncut, concentrated opportunity. My goal, like everybody else, is to take advantage of the opportunity that Allah has given us, to increase in ibadah and do away with some habits that maybe I didn’t have before, and pretty much make the most of the opportunity that Allah has given us to get closer to Him."
