Whether or not you call yourself one, you are Muslim; that is, deep down in your heart, you are. The relevant question, then, is how long it will take you to realize the Muslim inside you, the one who wants to commit to a way of life that is founded upon absolute truth. I started the first 22 years of my life as a Protestant Christian, which is interesting because at that time during high school, I had been wondering with substantial confusion as to why so many hours of so many Sundays of my life were spent singing songs that sounded a little too contemporary for a formal and holy service for God. |
