2022 NBA Playoffs: Live Announcements of Scores, Bulls and Current Champion Bucks in First Round Series

The Milwaukee Bucks begin their official title defense on Sunday in Game 1 against the Chicago Bulls in the opening round of the NBA Playoffs. Giannis Antotocounbo and Bucks have dominated the Bulls in recent years, 16-1 in the last 17 meetings, including 4-0 this season. Chicago is making its first playoff appearance since 2017, changing that trend. The Bulls, who trailed by double digits in the first quarter, struggled on a large scale to turn this single-possession game into the fourth quarter.

Phoenix Suns, the top favorite to host Day 2, will host the 8th New Orleans Pelicans. Earlier, the Miami Heat easily outscored the Atlanta Hawks 115-91 to take a 1-0 lead. Also, thanks to Jason Totem’s incredible buzzer-beating loop, the Celtics beat the Nets.
