The remains of the Alexis cabin were found in Plymouth, CA

Plymouth, California. (KRON) – The city of Oakley announced that the partial remains of the Alexis cabin were found Thursday in Plymouth, CA. Facebook. Gabe, 24, disappeared from Oakley in January and is believed to have been killed by her ex-boyfriend Marshall Jones.

A Plymouth resident reported what they believed to be human remains to the Amador County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday around 3:00 p.m. The city of Oakley said ACSO responded to the scene and decided to investigate Friday morning.

A forensic odontologist positively identified the remains as caps. The remains are partial, and the city believes her remains are scattered in several areas.

“Due to the condition of Alexis’ remains, we realize she may never be fully recovered,” the city of Oakley said.

Plymouth is located 40 miles east of Sacramento. The remains were found off Jackson Road. That’s the area where Jones went after Gabe was reported missing.

Jones was killed by police on June 1 in Kent, WA after he attacked officers with a knife. “She’s become a part of our family. We had no idea he could do something like this to her,” Gabe’s father, Quinn, said of Gabe Jones.

The city said there will be no reward money for anyone who finds more of her remains. The Gabe family has been notified and requested privacy.
