Two actors killed, six injured in accident

Update: More details have emerged from the crash in which two actors were killed and six crew members were injured during filming in Mexico. Netflix Series Selected.

Production of the series has been suspended by filming company Retrum. The accident happened on June 16 when the victims were on their way to the local airport. The health of the injured actors is stable.

Netflix has not yet commented on the crash.

Authorities said two actors were killed and six crew members were injured in the crash. The victims were not initially identified. The Baja California Department of Culture later said that Raymondo Cardono Cruz and Juan Francisco Gonzalez Aguilar had died.

The accident happened on a desert road near Mulej on the Baja California Sur Peninsula.

The crew is filming in nearby Santa Rosalia.

Selected The series is about a 12-year-old boy who learns that he is the returning Jesus Christ, destined to save mankind. It is based on the comic book series by Mark Miller and Peter Cross.

The series is being filmed by an unidentified independent production company. Authorities have no information on whether production will be affected by the crash.
